ELEMENTARY HAT DAY
See the attached flyer for details on Elementary Hat Day, Friday, January 29th. New this year, Elementary Hat Day will take place in each elementary classroom. There will NOT be a parade for parents in the gym. Winners will be announced in the Parents’ Page.
We will begin taking online enrollments for the 2021-2022 school year on February 15th with preference being given to current families until March 15th.
HOME BASKETBALL GAMES
We are pleased to announce we will be having girls and boys varsity basketball this year. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, home games will NOT be open to the public or visiting team fans for this season. Only parents, grandparents and siblings of current GBS players will be permitted to attend home basketball games. ALL fans will be temperature checked at the gate, must wear a mask and maintain social distancing during the games. Thank you for your cooperation. Let’s go Braves!!

EARLY DISMISSAL POLICY
Parents, if possible, please call the School Office or send in a note if your child will be signed out before the end of the school day. All visitors will need to come to the School Office and ring the doorbell and wait outside the gymnasium doors for assistance. Thank you.
As a reminder, our aftercare program is currently operating at a reduced capacity due to the ongoing pandemic. While aftercare is available for those who need it, we ask that aftercare be used only by those families who find it absolutely necessary. Thank you!

ELEMENTARY HAT DAY
Friday, January 29th
A special event for all students K3 thru 6th grade.
Create your own hat, bring it to school and wear it for “Hats on Parade” in your classroom. The judging will begin at 8:30 a.m. Five prizes will be given in each grade for the “prettiest,” “funniest,” “most original/creative,” “Bible theme” and “patriotic theme”. A candy treat will be given to each student who participates in this special day. Also, each class that has 100% participation will receive an Ice Cream treat! Winners for each category will receive a full-size candy bar!
Hats must be decorative to qualify.
Unfortunately, we will not be having our usual hat parade for parents in the gym this year.
