We are in need of parents to help with our concession stand for all home basketball games.  If you are available to help out in this area please contact the School Office.  Thank you for supporting our GBS athletes!

We have an annual Christmas tradition at Granite Baptist School of providing needed items to the Baltimore Rescue Mission.  This year we have attached their wish list and hope to collect as many of the requested items as possible.  If you are interested in contributing, please send in the items to the School Office by Friday, December 14th.  Thank you for your generosity!

If you (or your child) ever misplace the bi-weekly Parents’ Page, you can view it online at and click the Parents’ Page link.

Parents, if for any reason you need to visit your child’s classroom during the school day, please remember to check in at the School Office in the gymnasium.  You must sign your name on our register and receive a visitor pass before proceeding to your child’s classroom.  This is part of our school security policy and ensures that we have a record of everyone on our campus at all times.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Notification of school closing or delayed opening will be made the following ways:  School Cast messaging; our website; our phone messaging 410-761-1118 option 2 and option 2 again; WBAL-TV Channel 11; and WBAL radio AM 1090.

Student Spectators (Including Elementary):  With the exception of special events (like Spirit Day) school standard dress must be worn for all school activities including Saturday tournaments and evening events.

According to our policy in the Student Handbook students who are ill or have a fever are not permitted to attend class and should not be brought to school.  A child who wakes up with a fever and is given Tylenol is still a sick child.  Please do not send your child to school within a 24 hour period of fever, vomiting or diarrhea.  No student with a temperature of 100 degrees or above will be allowed to remain in school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
