EARLY REGISTRATION FEE REMINDER

Early registration for next school year ends on April 30, 2024.  A registration fee of $200 per child must be paid and the full online enrollment package must be submitted before your registration can be processed. If we do not have that fee and completed online packet by April 30th you will have missed the early registration fee deadline.  All current families processed after April 30th will have to pay a fee of $250 per child as stated in your enrollment packet.

SUMMER SCHOOL EXTENSION PROGRAM

Back by popular demand is our Summer School Extension Program for students in K4 through 6th grade. This year our summer program will run from Monday, June 17th – Friday, August 9th.  We have mailed a summer program flyer to all our current families.  We are working on our summer school calendar and should have it ready by the end of April.  Please contact the School Office at 410-761-1118 if you are interested.

AMERICAN CHRISTIAN HONOR SOCIETY

Congratulations to the following students who will be inducted into the American Christian Honor Society:  Haley Billingsley, Holly Chalgren, Whitney Finley, Elizabeth Park, Brooke Baker, Terestina Jones, Mobolaji Akosile, Charity Friend, Sophie Mavris, Anna Taylor, James, Mason, Matthew White, Joseph Alreichan, Elijah Park and Noah Vizarra.  Special thanks to Mrs. Berg and Mrs. Elizabeth Mason for organizing the reception.

ELEMENTARY FIELD DAY:  TUESDAY, MAY 28th

Our annual elementary field day for students in 1st through 6th grades will be held on Tuesday, May 28th from 9:00 – 3:00 on our GBS soccer field.  We need volunteers to help with running the games, timing, preparing the awards and distributing the food.  This year we are pleased to offer a Jersey Mike’s box lunch for our students and parent volunteers for $9.00 each. Each box contains a Jersey Mike’s sub with chips, drink and a cookie.  If you are available and would like to help, with field day, please contact the School Office.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Spring has sprung! Please check the length and fit of your child’s school uniforms.  Reminder: skirts, skorts jumpers and P.E. shorts must come below the knee while sitting and standing.  If a new item is needed, now is a great time to take advantage of discount pricing through Dennis Uniforms or Lands End.  Our uniform closet is available for swapping items during School Office hours.  Thank you.

FORGOTTEN MATERIALS TABLE

A table has been set up outside the School Office for parents to drop off forgotten materials.  All materials such as homework, books, clothing, projects, lunch boxes, etc. must be labeled with the child’s name and grade level. The front office staff will notify your student’s teacher that the materials are at the front office for the student to pick up.  For the lower grades (K3-K5) one of our teacher aides will deliver the materials to your child’s classroom.

SICK POLICY

Please remember that students who are ill or have a fever are not permitted to attend class and should not be brought to school.  A child who wakes up with a fever and is given Tylenol is still a sick child.  Please do not send your child to school within a 24 hour period of fever, vomiting or diarrhea.  No student with a temperature of 100 degrees or above will be allowed to remain in school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
