EARLY REGISTRATION FEE REMINDER
Just a reminder to current GBS families who have not enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year, some of the elementary classes are almost full. A registration fee of $275 per child must be paid before your registration can be processed. If we do not have that fee by April 30, 2022 you will have missed the early registration fee deadline. All current families processed after April 30th will have to pay a fee of $325 per child as stated in your enrollment packet.
GBC MISSIONS CONFERENCE
March is Missions month at Granite Baptist Church. You are invited to attend our Missions Conference every Sunday in the month of March. There will be missionaries represented from the Philippines, Suriname, Kenya, and Papua New Guinea. In addition to the Sunday morning and evening meetings, missionaries will be presenting chapels to students as well as visiting with the students in the elementary classrooms.
TRAFFIC CONTROL
Parents, please do not attempt to bypass the orange cones once they have been placed. If arriving after 8:14 am, please park out front and walk your child to the School Office. For afternoon dismissal, cars should not pull onto the back parking lot until 2:45 pm for the safety of students walking to the gym and/or School Office. Thank you.
EARLY DISMISSAL POLICY
Parents, if possible, please call the School Office or send in a note if your child will be signed out before the end of the school day. All visitors will need to come to the School Office and ring the doorbell and wait outside the gymnasium doors for assistance. Thank you.
SICK POLICY
According to our policy in the Student Handbook students who are ill or have a fever are not permitted to attend class and should not be brought to school. A child who wakes up with a fever and is given Tylenol is still a sick child. Please do not send your child to school within a 24 hour period of fever, vomiting or diarrhea. No student with a temperature of 100 degrees or above will be allowed to remain in school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
STUDENT DRESS FOR ATHLETIC GAMES
Student Spectators (Including Elementary): With the exception of special events, school uniform must be worn for all school activities including after school games, Saturday tournaments and evening events.
