I would like to express my deepest appreciation to our Granite families for the generous offering you gave at the school-wide Christmas program.  The total amount given was $3,385.  All the funds received will be distributed evenly to the teachers.  Thank you for your sacrificial generosity.  May God bless you this Christmas season!

Just a reminder, the last day of school is Tuesday, December 20thCome in and join us for Christmas Chapel starting at 8:30 am.  School will re-open Tuesday, January 3rd.  The School Office will be closed from 3:30 pm on December 20th until 8:00 am on January 3rd.

Please note the Lost and Found cabinet will be opened Monday and Tuesday, December 19th and 20th.  Please come by the gymnasium and claim any lost articles.  Items not picked up before Christmas break will be donated to charity.

Parents, if for any reason you need to visit your child’s classroom during the school day, please remember to check in at the School Office in the gymnasium.  You must sign your name on our register and receive a visitor pass before proceeding to your child’s classroom.  This is part of our school security policy and ensures that we have a record of everyone on our campus at all times.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Student Spectators (Including Elementary):  With the exception of special events, school uniform must be worn for all school activities including after school games, Saturday tournaments and evening events.

If GBS is closed or has a delayed opening, you can be notified the following ways:  School Cast messaging; our website www.granitebaptistschool.org; our phone messaging 410-761-1118 option 2 and option 2 again; WBAL-TV Channel 11; WRBS radio FM 95.1 and WBAL radio AM 1090.

Please remember that students who are ill or have a fever are not permitted to attend class and should not be brought to school.  A child who wakes up with a fever and is given Tylenol is still a sick child.  Please do not send your child to school within a 24 hour period of fever, vomiting or diarrhea.  No student with a temperature of 100 degrees or above will be allowed to remain in school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
