THANK YOU FROM PASTOR ROSSI

“I would like to express my deepest appreciation to our Granite families for the generous offering you gave at the school-wide Christmas program.  All the funds received will be given to the teachers in the form of an extra Christmas bonus.  Thank you for your kindness and sacrificial generosity.  For those who may still wish to contribute, donations can be given to the School Office.  May God richly bless you this Christmas season!”

 CHRISTMAS BREAK

Just a reminder, the last day of school is Friday, December 21stCome in and join us for Christmas Chapel starting at 8:30 am.  School will re-open Monday, January 7th.  The School Office will be closed from 12:30 pm on December 21st until 8:00 am on January 7th. There will be NO AFTERCARE on Friday, December 21st.

 CHRISTMAS DONATIONS

Today, December 14th is the last date for items to be dropped off for the Baltimore Rescue Mission. We would like to thank everyone for your generosity in giving to those in need at this time of year.

 PARKING LOT SAFETY

Parents, please remember the speed limit on our parking lot is 5 mph at all times.  When dropping off please pull all the way down to the second stop sign at the back of the gym.  Please do not drive around to the School Office through either one of the rear exits.  Children are not expecting cars to be driven on the parking lot during the school day.  All parents should park out front and walk in to the School Office.  This is for the safety of all our children.  Thank you!

SECONDARY AFTERCARE – HOME BASKETBALL GAMES

Students may stay after school for home games with the following guidelines: 1) Only students in grades 7-12 may stay after school for a game without being accompanied by a parent.  2) All students staying after school need to report to the gym bleachers by 3:30 and be subject to the Aftercare policy.  3) No student is to leave the gym (going to royal farms, etc.) unless they have written permission from their parents and permission from the Aftercare monitor.  Granite Baptist School will not be responsible for the safety of students who leave our campus with or without our knowledge.  4) Students who stay after school for a game will be required to pay the established gate fee.  5) Students attending a game must be in school approved attire.  6) Students staying for a game must have a ride to pick them up as soon as the game concludes.

 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – BASKETBALL CONCESSIONS

We are in need of parents to help with our concession stand for all home basketball games.  If you are available to help out in this area please contact the School Office.  Thank you for supporting our GBS athletes!
