Enrollment packets for 2018-2019 will be mailed to all current Granite families next week. Please read over and note the changes made for next year. Registration for current families will be due by Wednesday, February 28th. Some classes may fill quickly, so we encourage you to register early. We will open enrollment for new families beginning March 1st. Enrollment documents will also be made available on our website www.granitebaptistschool.org.
GBS OPEN HOUSE – THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH
We will be having an Open House on Thursday, February 8th and again on Thursday, March 15th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. We encourage you to come at these times to check out your child’s class for the 2018-2019 school year.
S.T.E.M. CLUB: “CODE WARRIORS”
An informational flyer for our Code Warriors Club was sent home this week to all students in the 5th through 8th grades. A new semester of Code Warriors for beginners will be starting on Friday, January 26th. Space is limited. Priority will be given to those students who are already on our waiting list. Please feel free to call the School Office if you have any questions about our Code Warriors Club.
LITTLE BRAVES CHEERLEADING
If your daughter is in K5-6th grade and is interested in cheerleading at GBS, please send in the form and fee by Friday, January 26th.
Parents, if for any reason you need to visit your child’s classroom during the school day, please remember to check in at the School Office in the gymnasium. You must sign your name on our register and receive a visitor pass before proceeding to your child’s classroom. This is part of our school security policy and ensures that we have a record of everyone on our campus at all times. Thank you for your cooperation!
Please remember that students who are ill or have a fever are not permitted to attend class and should not be brought to school. A child who wakes up with a fever and is given Tylenol is still a sick child. Please do not send your child to school within a 24 hour period of fever, vomiting or diarrhea. No student with a temperature of 100 degrees or above will be allowed to remain in school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
School standard dress must be worn for all school activities including after school games, Saturday tournaments and evening events. Students are not allowed to change out of their school uniform for any reason other than P.E. or sports practice. Students who are not leaving school immediately after P.E. or practice must change back into their school uniform for aftercare and/or games.
